With Golfers Only we didn’t only launch a magazine. A website was created and Golf TV magazine on SSF was brought to life.

In Switzerland the golfer’s scene changed dramatically in the last few years. It became more dynamic and attractive. Golf is also going to be an Olympic discipline from 2016 and is developing –like previously Tennis – to a mass sport.  However, the structure and the media entourage didn’t grow with it.

In order to meet the changing requirements, together with the Zurich agency media & more, we decided to launch a multimedia platform. Golfers Only is active in five domains: print, online, TV, events and services. Thanks to central marketing and central handling the partnership made Golfers Only a unique platform.

We give companies a chance to jointly address the whole Swiss golf community in a multi and cross medial way and to therewith deepen the brand connection and the associated services with this highly interesting target audience.

Background information, behind the scenes, in the game, sponsors and donators are columns which can be found in the channel player. The videocenter was realized through by the way web and multimedia team.

Klaus Peter Mager is changing sides – from client to agency. The outgoing Vice President and Manager of the international communications division of Swatch AG, with head office in Biel, is joining by the way communications AG in Bern in function of partner and member of the company management as of 1January 2011. Mager has worked in the communications industry for 15 years (for companies like Swatch, IKEA or Farner PR) and has built a broad network on national as well as international level, which will be of enormous benefit to the full service agency by the way communications and its clientele. “By the way communication’s team has the ideal prerequisites to ideally

support me in my concepts and implementation of my various decrees”, Mager justifies his decision back to agency work. To his successful start the 38 year old
